Trakai is a cozy, beautiful town just 25 km away from Vilnius and the former capital of Lithuania.  Also, Trakai is famous for the insular Castle on the lake Galvė which dates back to the XV century. Today it is a historical Museum of Trakai.
After visiting the Trakai castle, we invite you to a local restaurant “Kybynlar” where you can taste the famous Karaim food.

You can also get a cooking class from a professional cook who will teach you all the secrets of making the most popular dish in Trakai – Kibinas. You probably couldn’t find a person in Lithuania who has never tasted Kibinas. It is pastry with different types of stuffing. It is the traditional dish of a small ethnic group Karaims living in Trakai.
